The Song Collective Nhậu-la

The Sống Collective, NYC’s leading diasporic Vietnamese-specific theatre company, will celebrate its 7th anniversary with a “Nhậu-La” — a playful cross between nhậu (Vietnamese-style drinking session), the traditional gala, and a short play festival.
In collaboration with Việt Salon NYC and with Chef Phoebe Trần of Bé Bếp (“Little Kitchen”) and Nhậu Culture
Guests will enjoy an evening of delicious nhậu food, specialty cocktails, and short performances written by commissioned playwrights: Tuânminh Albert Đỗ, Diana Khổng, and Thammie Laine Quách, and hopefully make many new memories with new (and old) friends.
Our collective is devoted to creating tangible and responsive artistic support for early-career Vietnamese writers and creatives to explore daring new works in performance. All funds raised at the event will be put towards future programming.
