Join us for a v special talk facilitated by @puneetjsingh__ at @boyfriendcoop on Wednesday, November 4th, 7–9 PM.

This conversation will explore the past, present, and future of Punjab’s land, rivers, and forests and the ways colonialism, development, and climate change are shaping the region.

@puneetjsingh__ is an urban planner working with the NYC Department of Environmental Protection on climate-adaptive water policy and planning. He previously worked with the Department of City Planning, assisting with clean energy infrastructure and housing development projects.

Originally from Salt Lake City, Puneet studied 20th-century Asian agricultural history as an undergraduate and holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Policy from The New School. When he’s not thinking about water policy and environmental futures, he likes listening to jazz with his two cats. 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🎷

And tbh, this is the first time we’re doing something like this so we’re really excited to bring this conversation into the community. Please help us by sharing this post with your friends! 💛 This event is open to anyone who is interested.
