Talisman for the Perfect Stranger Exhibition & Silent Auction

Community art project benefitting our migrant/immigrant and asylum seeking neighbors. Tailsmans are on display at King Manor Museum. The exhibition & auction end on November 7.
Organized by Dani Song and the Craft of Art Collective.
Across cultures, charms, amulets, and keepsakes serve as physical manifestations of care. This project reimagines the talisman as a universal gesture of goodwill—an offering crafted for a stranger, embodying shared wishes for protection, safe passage, and good fortune.
Created during a community workshop at King Manor Museum inspired by Korean talisman traditions, these fifteen unique talismans were made by twelve local residents. Each participant imbued their piece with a personal intention, uniting individual goodwill into a shared community gift.
