The TFS Black Reparations and Solidarity Campaign invites you to join our general monthly call. This month’s call will feature Miyo Tubridy, who will be doing a storytelling workshop. We will workshop ways of sharing our stories and connecting our personal experiences with the call for Black Reparations and Solidarity. This will be an especially great workshop to invite in elders with stories to share.

Miyo Tubridy is a queer, mixed-race Japanese American educator, storyteller and writer. She is a storytelling Instructor with The Moth and Program Manager at Slant’d for Beyond the Page, a live storytelling program for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. Miyo taught English Language Arts in NYC public schools for fifteen years. She is published in Raising Mothers and Mixed Roots: Writers on Multiracial Identity & Both/And Belonging (forthcoming 10/13/26). Born and raised in Seattle, Harlem has been her home for the past twenty years.
