This Year, We’re Bringing the Mid-Autumn Celebration to Life at The Shops at Skyview

This year, we’re proud to invite our community to join us at The Shops at Skyview for a vibrant and unforgettable Mid-Autumn Celebration on Sunday, October 5th, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

As a multi-level shopping destination in the heart of Flushing, Queens, we’re honoring one of the most cherished festivals in Asian cultures—a time for gathering, reflection, and joy. The Mid-Autumn Festival is second only to Lunar New Year in cultural significance across many Asian countries, and this year, we’re celebrating in a big way.

We will fill the center with color, tradition, and community spirit as we showcase:

Cultural Dance Performances
Experience a stunning Chinese ribbon dance by D&M Dancing Art Studio and a dynamic Korean drum dance by the Korean Traditional Music and Dance Center.

Live Music Performance
Enjoy a blend of traditional and modern sounds with the erhu, pipa, and guzheng, performed by MISS—an all-female NYC band celebrating Asian music.

Mooncake Tasting
Savor Hong Kong MX Mooncakes, seasonal snacks, and tea pairings from select Skyview retailers.

Traditional Wardrobe Experience
Try on traditional Chinese Hanfu and Korean Hanbok, then snap a photo at our immersive photobooth.
