From K-Pop to Kimbap, everything Korean is hot right now. Whether you’re a super fan, new to the scene or especially if you have a love/hate relationship with Korean culture, this comedy show is for you!
This interactive variety show is led by three Korean performers who at some point may have been considered “Wangtta” or “Rejected” Koreans. Through hot takes, puppetry and a Korean version of Family Feud, the Wangtta are ready to take their revenge!
About the performers:
Youngmi Mayer is a standup comedian and host of the podcast Hairy Butthole. She has been on The Today Show, ABC News, Rolling Stone, CNN, Vice Munchies, Eater’s Guide To The World and The Mind Of A Chef. Her work has been featured in Netflix Is A Joke, Comedy Central and BBC. She has written for Lucky Peach, Cherry Bombe, InStyle and Women’s Health Magazine.
She is also the author of I’m Laughing Because I’m Crying, a memoir based on her life. She is one of the rare comedians working today who has obtained success both on online platforms and in the mainstream. She lives in New York City with her son, Mino Bowien.

Kathleen Kim is a NYC based producer, puppeteer and voice artist best known for her work on Sesame Street as Ji-Young, the show’s first Asian American Muppet character who debuted in the Emmy nominated AAPI special “See Us Coming Together.” Some of her other performance credits include Awkwafina’s Nora From Queens, Saturday Night Live, The Today Show and Helpsters on Apple TV+.
