Join CAPA and Potluck Asian America for a fun-filled day of music, skate, food, and community engagement at Gotham Park’s fourth annual Community Block Party!

In light of May being Asian Pacific American Heritage Month (aka AANHPI month), the Coalition of Asian Pacific Americans (CAPA) and various AAPI organizations will be participating at Gotham Park’s Block Party. The organizations will be involved in many activities including arts and crafts, calligraphy, providing info on various AAPI events, selling books, providing resources regarding anti-Asian hate, providing info on Broadway plays, providing resources on how to be more active in your community, and selling food. Come on out and celebrate with us! The following AAPI organizations and participants who’ll be there include:

Gordon and Lili children’s books
Korean American Civic Empowerment
Joanna Lee (info. on Broadway plays)

There will also be live music from Fogo Azul, Church Street School for Music & Art, Spotlight Kids, and opera by Teatro Grattacielo, alongside educational activities with Pace, New York Public Library and others.
