“otherland”: healing & song w/ treya lam + Dr Elizabeth So

Warm up for the cold season ahead with an intimate musical and healing experience by treya lam and Dr Elizabeth So!
At this communal gathering, treya lam’s multi-instrumental and vocal performances will draw from “otherland”, a multidisciplinary grief and regeneration ritual that utilizes song, movement, film and storytelling to explore loss as a catalyst for radical empathy. Dr Elizabeth So will gently ease us into the cooler season with a homemade herbal tonic and guide us through the herbs and share about where we currently are in the Lunar calendar.
As we hold space for ourselves and each other, we’ll ground ourselves by centering ideas of warming and rootedness, our relationships between personal and collective wholeness and wellness, and our sense of place and belonging here in Chinatown.
