The NYC Cambodian classical dance community is so happy to welcome back artists Peter Veth, Stephanie Seng, and Chummeng Suon from Khmer Urban Ballet (@khmer_urban_ballet on Instagram)! They were so enthused by the response to last fall’s workshop and are back for a special summer workshop featuring two levels of Cambodian classical dance and Cambodian folk dance.

Workshop Details:

• Date: Saturday, August 1st, 2026
• Location: The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture (18 Bleeker Street, Manhattan, NY 10012)
• Schedule:
  • 10:30 am – 12:15 pm – Intermediate Cambodian Classical Dance
  • 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm – Foundations of Cambodian Classical Dance
  • 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm – Folk Dance
• Cost: Free, but donations are encouraged.
