Let’s hop into a great year of learning together. Today’s topic? The Rabbit on the Moon! Chinese legend says that there’s a Jade Rabbit living on the moon. Learn how the rabbit got to the moon, and what it’s doing there, by reading the legend here! Then join us on September 12th to make fun Jade Rabbit-themed headbands. Thinking about adding a real rabbit to your family? Our foster friends at Bunnies and Beyond will be joining us to share all about adopting a rabbit, rabbit care, and more!

About Bunnies and Beyond
Bunnies and Beyond is an adoption and educational non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, proper care, and ultimately, the adoption of rabbits and guinea pigs commonly kept as pets. In addition to finding homes and medical care for animals that have been abandoned or surrendered, Bunnies and Beyond also provides services in helping to bond rabbits with a partner rabbit, for those looking to get a friend for their bun! Learn more and get involved at Bunnies and Beyond.

Paint, build, craft, and collage with us! Inspired by the museum’s exhibitions and local artists, MOCACREATE explores different themes every month. MOCACREATE workshops are designed with families in mind, but all are welcome!
