Korea on Screen is a year-long screening series celebrating the depth and diversity of Korean cinema. This edition turns the spotlight on Korean animation, presenting one feature-length film and five short films across two days.

Through imaginative worlds and distinctive visual storytelling, the program explores relationships shaped by distance and separation, the boundaries that divide individuals and communities, and the fragile beliefs through which people understand themselves and one another. Moving between intimate romance, social allegory, and surreal journeys through memory and loss, these six works demonstrate the expressive range of contemporary Korean animation.

A Trip to the Ear 귀로의 여행 (2026)
A woman who is living in a house that drifts like cosmic debris wakes to find her right ear and her husband gone. To recover what was lost, she embarks on a surreal journey through the void.

Boundaries 경계 (2025)
A passenger on a bus reclines their seat too far. This small action shifts the balance of the shared space, sending everyone on board in an unexpected direction.

Statue 동상 (2024)
The commotion begins when someone accidentally damages a statue that everyone respects. Whether their respect for the statue was sincere or a forced belief began to be revealed through the destruction of the statue.

Society of Clothes 옷장 속 사람들 (2024)
When morning arrives in Society of Clothes, a shirt and a pair of pants step outside the closet, transforming into a human figure. In this world, everyone exists only as clothes. They wander into the streets, bodiless and faceless, performing absurd daily tasks.

Glasses 안경 (2025)
Yujin accidentally steps on her glasses and breaks the lenses. She visits an optical shop to get a new pair and looks through the lenses of an eye examination machine. There, she sees a house with a pitched roof standing in the middle of a field. Yujin crosses the field and enters the house.
