K Magazine New York Issue — Elsewhere, Together Reading & Launch
K Book: Alienation and Cohabitation, back to New York
K Book New York Special Reading & Launch
📅 October 25, 2026， 3 PM – 5 PM 📍 重音社 · New York： 89 5th Ave #702, New York

A book from Taipei, reading New York, finally back to New York.

The fifth issue of the K Book New York special, Alien and Together in Elsewhere, Together, invites novelists, poets, artists, photographers, architects, and creators from different fields to re-see New York from their respective languages, memories, and life experiences. This issue does not attempt to define a city, but rather offers imaginative possibilities: how do cultures come together in crowds, history and everyday life when different people come to the same place? How can we understand each other in our differences and find ways to be together in the outside world?

On October 25th, we bring this encounter back to New York.

Invite the authors, readers of the K Book, and new friends and old friends along the way to join us at the Accenture Society on October 25.

No lengthy speeches scheduled this time. We invite creators in New York to choose a short piece of text they want to read — it could be in this issue of K Book, or it could be a poem, a novel, a page of prose, or a piece of text that you want to share with everyone at the moment.

The words that each person chooses may echo each other, or may not be relevant; like New York itself, people from different places meet by chance, each with their own story, but share the same space and time on a certain afternoon.

After reading the unit together, please stay, have a drink and chat.
