Join Potluck Asian America for Mahjong and Dinner with Ice Cream Inspired by Asian Flavors!

Join us for Mahjong, Dinner and Asian-Inspired Ice Cream Flavors with Nine Treasures Creamery!
Potluck Asian America is excited to host this special, flavorful event on June 5 with Nine Treasures Creamery, a modern Asian ice cream brand celebrating cultural abundance, joy and harmony through flavor and design.
Our fun night of food and Hong Kong-style mahjong welcomes players of all levels, including beginners. All are welcome to learn and practice this game of skill, strategy, and luck that originated in 19th century China and meet other mahjong enthusiasts. There will also be random prize giveaways!
A full dinner, including Asian bites, snacks, and unique ice cream flavors from Nine Treasures Creamery will be served. You will also get to meet Nine Treasures Creamery Founder Kimberly Wong!
Sokie Lee will lead the mahjong games and will provide guidance and instruction throughout the evening. Sokie is passionate about Mahjong and has taught countless beginners to play—often in just 15 minutes! She’s led workshops for groups including the Museum of Chinese in America, Rotary Club, Brotherhood Synagogue, Pearl River Mart, and Think!Chinatown. Besides Mahjong, Sokie is a graphic designer, licensed massage therapist, and Tai Chi/Qigong instructor.
All are welcome, so bring your friends! This is a great chance to learn and hone those mahjong skills, enjoy great food and frozen sweet treats, and meet wonderful new people!
