In July, Congress passed their budget reconciliation package, which drastically increased funding for deportations while slashing funding for Medicaid, SNAP, and other critical programs that provide for people’s basic needs. These decisions have far-reaching consequences for Southeast Asian American (SEAA) communities across the country.
