Hosted by the Office of Assemblymember Steven Raga, Queens Borough President Donovan Richards, NaFFAA-New York, and FANHS-Metro New York, the 3rd Annual Filipino American History Month Celebration on Saturday, Oct 18 (10:30 AM–5 PM) at St. James Episcopal Church, Elmhurst. FANHS-MNY will be there to table and participate in panels.
There will be FREE breakfast, workshops, awards, a meryenda + resource fair, and of course music, dancing, karaoke, and performances!
What to expect:
- 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM Free Breakfast & Welcome Panel (hybrid — Zoom starts 11:00 AM; link TBA)
- 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM “Your Care, Your Rights” Mental Health Series Workshop
- 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM Awards Ceremony presented by the Office of Assemblymember Steven Raga and Queens Borough President Donovan Richards
- 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM Free Meryenda + Resource Fair (health, legal aid, workers’ rights, education, environment, small business, anti-Asian hate, voting rights, and more) + music, dancing, karaoke, and live performances
