After leaving Tibet on foot across the Himalayas in 1989, Yungchen Lhamo turned her sacred vocal tradition into a vehicle for global healing, peace, and radical compassion. She has since performed in over 80 countries, collaborating with icons from Philip Glass to Annie Lennox. You don’t need to speak Tibetan to be moved by her music—her voice is a universal language that bypasses the mind and speaks directly to the soul.
