Step away from the rush of the city and enjoy an evening of art, music, language, and connection. From October 2026 through May 2027, China Institute’s Calligraphy, Music & Mandarin Meetup returns for a new season, bringing together three engaging ways to experience Chinese culture in one evening.

This month, enjoy live performances featuring pipa (琵琶), guqin (古琴), and konghou (箜篌). Pick up a brush and explore Chinese calligraphy with guidance from a master calligrapher. All materials are provided, and beginners are welcome.

During intermission, join our Mandarin Language Table for relaxed conversation and practice. Whether you are just starting out or already fluent, everyone is welcome.
