AAPI Women Lead: A Live Conversation with Author Nicole Chung

Join us for a meaningful conversation with author Nicole Chung as we explore her memoir A Living Remedy—a deeply personal story about grief, family, and navigating the failures of the U.S. healthcare system.
Nicole shares the story of losing her adoptive parents and the challenges of caretaking in a system that often fails working-class families. Her reflections offer a powerful critique of medical institutions and invite us to consider what care, connection, and justice can look like in the face of loss.
This event will be hosted by Dr. Connie Wun , Executive Director of AAPI Women Lead, who will engage Nicole in an intimate conversation about writing through grief, honoring loved ones, and imagining systems rooted in dignity and compassion.
This event is for anyone who has experienced loss, cared for family, or is rethinking how we support each other in times of crisis.
