We are hosting craft workshops and a maker’s market to fundraise for local AAPI non-profit organizations

• Decorate Heart of Dinner grocery bags for AAPI Elders
• Shop small AAPI small business to win prizes

The Lower East Side Partnership is organizing this event in conjunction with Heart of Dinner, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity that addresses food insecurity, social isolation, and loneliness among Asian American older adults living in under‑resourced and underinvested communities. Every week, they home deliver hand‑decorated care packages with about three days of culturally comforting meals, fresh produce, and a handwritten love note.

Featured small buisnesses will be selling handmade items including but not limited to:

• stickers
• enamel pins
• ceramics
• decorative rugs
• earrings
• sculptures
• mochi squares
• madeleines

15% of all sales at the maker’s market and our ticket proceeds (after fees and cost of goods needed for the event) from tickets would go to AAPI non-profit organizations that address food insecurity among AAPI communities inclusive of neighborhoods like Chinatown and Lower East Side (i.e. Heart of Dinner, Meals For Unity, UA3)
