Between Earth and Water: Readings on Migration, Belonging, and Survival

Sunday Salon is kicking off the fall 2026 season in true literary style! On September 20, we will host “Between Earth and Water: Readings on Migration,
Belonging, and Survival,” an official @bkbookfest Bookend event! We have an incredible lineup not to miss — Alison Kinney, Joseph O. Legaspi, Ed Lin, and Sunday Salon’s very own Nita Noveno taking the stage 🔥
What does it mean to live between worlds—between countries, languages, identities, and selves? On September 20th, Sunday Salon NYC presents Between Earth and Water, a reading featuring four writers whose new and recent work explores migration, belonging, the body, and survival across borders and generations. Spanning hybrid memoir, poetry, fiction, and narrative nonfiction, their work moves from the Philippines to Southeast Alaska to New York, tracing how people endure, adapt, and claim space—on the page and in the world. With Alison Kinney, Ed Lin, Joseph O. Legaspi, and Nita Noveno. DJ DubSix Spins.
