Born from a single, secret helpline during our founding as the New York Asian Women's Center, we have since grown to offer a variety of culturally-humble, holistic services to community members experiencing gender-based violence including domestic violence, human trafficking, and sexual violence. Womankind’s services are rooted in our philosophy of supporting survivors’ rights to self-determination and self-sufficiency in building their paths to healing.
