Mentari Human Trafficking Survivor Empowerment Program Inc. is a (501) (c) (3) non-profit based in New York. Mentari was founded in 2014 by Shandra Woworuntu, with a team of anti-trafficking advocates, to provide prevention, mentor, and empowerment programs for AAPI survivors of gender based violence, abuse, exploitation and human trafficking. Mentari empowers survivors so that they actively reintegrate into society. We provide job training in culinary and job placement assistance.
