SUMMARY:NYC Cambodian Dance Workshop with Khmer Urban Ballet
DESCRIPTION:The NYC Cambodian classical dance community is so happy to welcome back artists Peter Veth\, Stephanie Seng\, and Chummeng Suon from Khmer Urban Ballet (@khmer_urban_ballet on Instagram)! They were so enthused by the response to last fall’s workshop and are back for a special summer workshop featuring two levels of Cambodian classical dance and Cambodian folk dance. \nWorkshop Details: \n\nDate: Saturday\, August 1st\, 2026\nLocation: The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture (18 Bleeker Street\, Manhattan\, NY 10012)\nSchedule:\n\n10:30 am – 12:15 pm – Intermediate Cambodian Classical Dance\n12:30 pm – 2:00 pm – Foundations of Cambodian Classical Dance\n2:30 pm – 5:30 pm – Folk Dance\n\n\nCost: Free\, but donations are encouraged.\n\nPlease RSVP by scanning the QR code or at bit.ly/KUBxNYC_2026. \nThe last day to register is Tuesday\, July 28th. This form will close on July 29th. \nWhile the workshop itself is fully funded\, we also invite you to consider donating to Samantha Hing\, Mekong NYC’s Board Chair\, to help support artist fees and studio costs.
