SUMMARY:Navigating Together: Addressing Lung Cancer Screening in the AA and NH/PI Communities
DESCRIPTION:Please join the APPEAL team as we discuss the importance of addressing lung cancer screenings for current and former smokers in the Asian American\, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AA and NH/PI) communities. This webinar will feature speakers from different levels of community engagement from a healthcare provider\, a community health worker coalition and a community based organization. Our various speakers will talk about their experiences of bridging partnerships and working within our diverse communities to identify strategies to educate about the importance of lung cancer screenings\, and other social determinants of health. We invite AA and NH/PI serving Community Based Organization\, health centers\, state health departments and other health equity advocates to join us so we can continue advocacy about supporting our communities.
