He graciously continues to share his story on his page and will share his knowledge with us during this session. \n12PM-12:30PM   IMMIGRATION COURT WATCH WORKSHOP\nThe majority of the abductions of our neighbors\, friends and tamily in New York nave happened at 26 Federal Plaza\, steps away rom Chinatown. Come to this workshop to learn what activists are currently doing tc help our neighbors navigate this harrowing process and how you can get plugged in to help! Fluent other language speakers and attorneys (any type are needed) who would like to volunteer are encouraged to attend. \n1:30PM-2:30PM FIRST AID\nLearn and practice the basics of how to address minor bleeds and how to address major ones with the use of tourniquets and wound packing. You will also learn and practice the basics of eye washes for the use of mitigating tear gas and pepper spray. You get a free tourniquet and other first aid supplies with this class. Class taught by @sarinyyya who’s worked 21 years in the fire department. \n2:45pm-3:45pm PROTEST SAFETY\nThis session will be dedicated to sharing good practices on keeping yourself and your people safe from State violence during a protest. We will be introducing skills such as situational awareness and utilizing tools like the OODA Loop to navigate the frontlines. Free goggles\, sudecon wipes\, electrolytes and more for participants. Class by @yourprotestsafetykuya \n4PM-5:30PM  PROTEST POSTERS AND WHEAT PASTE \nPrint your own protest art posters via reliet printing\, stamping and other techniques.\nAlso\, learn how to make and apply wheat paste! No artistic background needed! All levels are welcome.\nClass taught by print artist @hariehanga and wheat paste artist @cindytrinh.photo \n5:40PM to 6:30PM  Self Defense 4 BIPOC women\, femmes\, trans and gender expansive folks \nWe will also have drop-in activities going on all day: ICE whistle kit packing\, letter writing to political prisoners\, free activist zines\, mutual aid and meeting other activists! \n\n   \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nView this post on Instagram
