DESCRIPTION:Potluck Asian America is joining forces with the community-based Theater Takeover Tuesdays crew to support the new animated film Hoppers. \nMeet Karen Huie\, the voice of Grandma Tanaka in Hoppers! \nTheater Takeover Tuesdays is a grassroots moviegoing group organized by Julie Huang and friends that brings communities together to support films\, particularly those connected to Asian and Asian American actors\, writers\, directors\, and creators. The gatherings began during the SAG-AFTRA strike\, when artists could not promote their work in the usual ways and people were eager to reconnect after years of COVID isolation. \nFrom time to time\, actors\, writers\, directors\, stunt performers\, and others connected to the film stop by to meet the audience.
