SUMMARY:Light Up Diwali 2026
DESCRIPTION:AAPI New Jersey’s Light Up Diwali festival returns to the Montclair Art Museum. This joyous gathering honors the diverse cultural traditions of the South Asian diaspora. \nDiwali\, the festival of lights\, commemorates a triumph of light over darkness and is a time for all to gather and celebrate new beginnings. Spend a magical afternoon enjoying vibrant music and dance performances\, trying your hand at kid-friendly crafts\, and capturing special moments in our photo booth. Visitors will have the opportunity to sit in on book readings by South Asian authors\, learn about South Asian NGOs and Indian textiles\, browse one-of-a-kind goods from local vendors\, and indulge in sweet and savory bites from an array of food trucks. With your ticket you’ll also get an opportunity to explore the galleries at the museum. \nWe hope you will join us for this uplifting day of music\, fun\, food\, and light!
